Consistent with our mission, APTA values establishing mutually beneficial strategic alliances to advance the physical therapy profession and to support the patients and consumers it serves.
Through our Strategic Alliances Program, APTA collaborates with nonprofit and for-profit organizations to achieve its vision of transforming society by optimizing movement to improve the human experience.
APTA's Strategic Alliance structure comprises four categories, a relationship, nominated representative, coalition, or formal partnership, within one of which each alliance falls.
In addition to our strategic alliances with external organizations, APTA collaborates with the chapters and sections/academies within our association's federated structure.
