Have you upgraded yet to the latest, greatest smartphone? If not, the onslaught of ads, and maybe razzing from your kids, can make you feel as if you're living in the Dark Ages—before iPhones even had numbers! It's endemic to the age in which we live—the world is constantly nudging us to buy the newest (and therefore coolest) fashions and cars, to seek a bigger house, to scope out primo tickets to the concert or game.

Interestingly, though, the single biggest upgrade we can make has nothing to do with material purchases. I'm talking about upgrading our lives. More specifically, I'm referring to upgrading the choices we make that, all together, set our priorities and life direction. As a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant interested in integrating wellness into your practice, this is where you come in, to make a lasting impact.
