With technology ever more integrated into our daily lives, it's hardly surprising that physical therapists (PTs) are increasingly incorporating technological devices and equipment into their services. In fact, a stated goal of the APTA's strategic plan is to "leverage technology to advance physical therapists' role in enhancing movement."1 New technologies are contributing to patient care in clinics and hospitals around the country and across a spectrum of diagnoses.
