A Love Story in the Bayou of Louisiana

My love story takes me to the bayou of Louisiana, where there happens to be a small gathering of 17,000 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students of physical therapy at Combined Sections Meeting 2018.

I met some friends and then we went to meet the rest of their group at their Airbnb before the night's festivities kicked off, and my friends invited me to stay for dinner.

As I sat at the table for dinner that night, I remember thinking, "These are my people."
