Alicia Hosmer is the senior director of brand strategy at APTA.
Before joining the association in 2018, she was vice president of marketing at Nareit, the leading trade association for real estate investment trusts. In that role she led an organization- and industry-wide rebrand to strengthen the relevance and clarity of the association’s voice and the industry’s value proposition for investors. Prior to that, was the vice president of marketing for the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions. During her time at NAFCU, she led the marketing strategy and execution to reach the association’s event, product, service, and membership recruitment and retention goals. She also managed numerous organization-wide projects including the 2016 field of membership expansion and rebranding of the association. Alicia holds a B.A. in Graphic Communications from James Madison University and a Certified Marketing Executive designation from Sales & Marketing Executives International.
