The APTA Knowledge Bowl, powered by EBS Healthcare and Scorebuilders might be one of the most entertaining events that you will participate in as an APTA student member! This high-energy event allows students from DPT programs across the country to test their knowledge and prep for the National Physical Therapy Examination.

Teams get to show off their program's knowledge, colors, and pride. Gather your classmates and join us for our first virtual Knowledge Bowl, powered by EBS Healthcare and Scorebuilders.
Thirteen teams have been be selected to compete, but audience participation is crucial. This game show format is low pressure for competitors, allowing both participants and the audience a chance to learn and have fun!

How does it work?
- 13 physical therapist programs are selected to compete from around the country.
- Teams consist of four members, one acting as the team lead.
- During the game, the moderator will pose a question to the teams. Each team will confer and agree on an answer that the team leader will reveal to the moderator. The moderator will announce the correct answer with the teams and audience and then begin a discussion in which both the teams and audience participate.
- Team scores will be calculated and shared after each round.

- The good news is that most of the questions that will be asked are on content you have already been exposed to during your academic training. By reviewing other resources, you not only increase your team's chance to win, you also prepare for the exam.

- Even when you get the wrong answer, you win! The whole point of this event is to practice for the NPTE while learning. Each question will include a discussion about the correct answer.
- Even if your team isn't selected you can join in on the fun. Faculty, PTs, PTAs, and physical therapist assistant students will be included in discussions. Cheer for your program or your colleagues!

- Each winning team will be given a plaque and a $250 credit per team member toward their NPTE fees.
