Cerebral palsy (CP) is defined as "a group of permanent disorders of the development of movement and posture, causing activity limitation, that are attributed to non-progressive disturbances that occurred in the developing fetal or infant brain." (1) The prevalence of CP has been reported as 3.1 cases per 1,000 children. (2)
