The Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Information Gateway (also known as TRACIE, for Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange) was created to meet the information and technical assistance needs of health care entities, health care providers, and others working in disaster medicine, health care system preparedness, and public health emergency preparedness.

TRACIE was developed by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response.

The website contains planning materials, templates, and help for providers in understanding their obligations under the CMS emergency preparedness regulations.
