It sounds cliché, but I think I tripped and fell into love with APTA and this profession.

I joined APTA immediately after being admitted to the PTA program at Fayetteville Technical Community College in North Carolina.

From there, I happened to make connections within the North Carolina (NC) Chapter, and was asked shortly thereafter to take a position as the NCPTA program delegate for my school.
