The American Physical Therapy Association and the Office of Long COVID Research and Practice, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services are hosting a Long COVID Rehabilitation Summit to advance the collaborative care of this health condition. This is an invitation-only event.
This event will take place May 16, noon-7 p.m. and May 17, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Objectives
- Initiate productive discussions with medical and rehabilitation providers about the management of individuals with Long COVID.
- Develop language to support a consensus statement regarding role of rehabilitation in the management of individuals with Long COVID.
- Create a proposed action plan that demonstrates continued commitment to the collaborative development of Long COVID clinical guidance for providers of medical and rehabilitation services.
